On November 12, 2026, we are holding The Only Way Out Is Through, Safer Schools, Stronger Communities, as part of an important national tour of public forums that are free to the public. This forum will take place in Broward County, Florida, and will be hosted by veteran, humanitarian, author, and Emmy Award winner Montel Williams.
We are bringing together people with distinctly different perspectives on preventing school shootings and youth violence, as well as protecting the entire school community.
The Only Way Out Is Through, Safer Schools, Stronger Communities is built around a multidisciplinary approach. Our forums bring together survivors, educators, students, mental health professionals, law enforcement, policymakers, and community leaders to identify practical solutions, recognize early warning signs, build action plans to prevent school shootings and gun violence, address trauma, and protect our children, educators, school employees, communities, and families.
The public is invited to attend at no charge. The forum will also be live streamed nationwide on Absolutely Indie Network (AIN), available on Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV, with the potential to reach viewers nationwide. The forum will also be archived on AIN and available to viewers at no charge, further extending its reach.
Each panelist has been selected because they bring a different piece of this very complicated problem to the table.
Our mission is to bring people together who may have very different experiences and perspectives, place them in the same room, listen to one another, identify practical solutions, and turn conversation into action. The objective is not political theater or debate. It is problem solving.
We are not gathering together to relive these tragedies, but to prevent the next one from happening.
